The slipknot doesn’t exactly fit into the everyday sex category. It is the crème de la crème, one of the noblest positions in the Kama Sutra, and is meant primarily for seasoned lovers. If you think you’re up for it, why not try it now?
The basis is simple: both partners assume the same posture, as though a mirror were separating them. The woman rests her knees on her partner’s thighs, and vice versa. They join their hands in a highly poetic embrace.
The close proximity facilitates penetration, even more so for supple lovers. They exchange looks and kisses both tender and passionate. Each lover can take the initiative to alter his or her position: they can hug each other warmly rather than simply hold each other’s hands, or stretch one leg on the bed and keep the other one bent. The slipknot position offers a number of possibilities in spite of its high level of difficulty.
