The Galloping horse

Though the galloping horse position makes hugging or caressing each other difficult, the two lovers derive tremendous pleasure from this intimate embrace, in which it’s not always clear who’s in charge.

There are several ways of going about this position. The woman may for instance lie on her back with her knees up, her legs apart, and her pelvis more or less upraised. Her lover kneels in between her legs and penetrates her. He can also sit on his heels with his thighs parted under the woman’s buttocks, who now rests the bottom of her back and her buttocks on his thighs. Her shoulders, head and feet rest on the bed, or any other surface.

The man holds on to his sweetheart’s shoulder with one hand and grasps one of her feet with the other hand, thereby striking the pose of a bareback rider clinging to his horse’s mane and simultaneously clutching its tail. Needless to say, though, that the man doesn’t need to grab the woman’s hair in order to mimic the situation more accurately!

This position provides very limited skin contact, as the two lovers’ chests don’t meet, and the couple can neither hug nor caress each other. All the pleasure therefore stems from penetration and is concentrated around the penis and vaginal areas.

The main interest of this position lies in the need for both lovers to harmonize their rhythms in an embrace where it soon becomes unclear who is in charge and who follows, or even who “rides” whom. Begin with an unhurried canter and take the time to adjust to each other’s rhythm. Then, whip up the excitement by galloping together and, every so often, slowing down to a more leisurely and relaxed pace, until you feel an irresistible urge to gallop again, as fast as you can, and reach an amazing peak of pleasure.
