The Compass

There are actually some positions in the Kama Sutra in which the man sits on top of the woman with his legs apart. One such position is called the Compass. So open up your horizons…

The woman lies on the bed with her torso tilted upwards and props herself up on both hands. The man sits on top of his partner with his legs straight out on either side of her hips. He maintains this difficult balance by linking his hands behind his lover’s neck, thereby allowing him to increase the strength and rhythm of his thrusts.

The man can now begin penetrating his partner, who will need to part her legs to let him enter her vagina. She will then feel his penis press against her G-spot and the rubbing of his groin against her clitoris. By clenching her legs, the woman will enhance her partner’s pleasure while locking the source of pleasure securely inside herself as well.

The name of this position is fitting: as with a compass, you can change the angle of your legs, loosen or straighten them up at will. In doing so, the couple will add to the comfort and force of the embrace.

It’s however worth noting that the Compass does require almost non-human strength, which could make some of you regret not going to the gym more often. If the man had sufficient strength, he’d be able to let go of his partner and use his hands to caress her and tease her clitoris.

With their legs arranged in a star-like shape, the only bond uniting the two lovers is their sexual organs. The Compass position makes any other contact difficult, except for passionate kisses. Primarily meant for seasoned lovers, this position is very original and often lends itself to unexpected sex play.
