The Epicure

In ancient Greece, Epicure favoured the simplicity of everyday pleasures over greed and excessive luxury. Today’s lovers can now put this philosophy into practice. In the Epicure position, the man comfortably enjoys his partner’s moves and shows his gratitude by returning her favours.

In this sitting position, the man may be comfortable but is nonetheless eagerly waiting for his partner to set the mechanics of love in motion and devote herself entirely to the couple’s pleasure.

The man sits a little sideways, with his weight on one arm and his legs apart to expose his penis. His left knee rests on the floor, the other one is bent upwards. His partner abandons herself to him, kneels between his legs, with her back to him and her chest on the floor, leaning on her forearms.

She starts to rock herself onto her lover’s penis while the man feasts his eyes on her. He gazes at his partner and considers the best ways to stimulate her: caressing one part of his partner’s body, then another, and letting his free hand linger on her breasts and bottom, or if she’s into it, why not a little anal stimulation. The woman’s leaning posture enables her to control the rhythm and deepness of penetration.

This position doesn’t provide stimulation to the woman’s G-spot and clitoris. She can, however, make up for this by stimulating herself during penetration or by raising her buttocks in an effort to give her partner more scope for his thrusts and let him take over.

Note that this position is easier to carry out on a rug or directly on the floor, rather than on a soft bed. So, like a true hedonist, you learn to make the most of simple pleasures.
